How do I register?
Fill up the official registration form with your details, learning goals and submit your CV & supporting documents through the form.
Is there a registration fee?
No, this is a fully-sponsored program! CIMB & CIMB Foundation has paid this course for you in full, all you need to do is show up and be ready to learn!
How long is the program?
26 weekdays – rest up on weekends and public holidays! Why 26 days? Because the tech landscape moves faster than a 4-year degree. We condense 12 months of industry evolution into 26 days of high-intensity training, saving you a year of 'trial and error' in the job market.
I don't have a formal education background in tech, can I still join?
You absolutely can! If you have taken courses, don't forget to submit your certificates upon registration.
I don't know much about tech but I want to learn through this program, can I register?
Yes, but you will need someone with coding skills to compete in the hackathon part of this program. We suggest you to get 1-2 friends with tech background to register too!
What does the program entail?
8 Jan – 12 Jan: Tech Bootcamp Part I
15 Jan – 19 Jan: Tech Bootcamp Part II
22 Jan – 29 Jan: Soft Skills Workshops
30 Jan – 31 Jan: Industry Sharing & Visit
4 Feb – 6 Feb: 36-Hour Hackathon Competition
6 Feb: Pitching & Award Ceremony
Is the program virtual/physical or hybrid?
This program is a physical program to be conducted in Kuala Lumpur. You will need to attend in person.
Is this a group or individual program?
You will be grouped with 2 other participants – you can choose to be grouped with your friends if you register together as a group.
Is it open to non-Malaysian?
Unfortunately, no, this program is open for Malaysian only.
If I get selected, what do I need to prepare for this program?
Your full-time commitment to the program.
Arrange for logistics to attend the program in person.
Bring your laptop and charger.
Come with a spirit to learn, and you are ready to go.
I don't have a laptop. Can I still join?
Unfortunately, no. This program will require participants to bring a laptop for the best practical learning experience.
Is it open to non-Malaysian?
No. It's only for Malaysians.
Is there a certificate?
Yes! A certificate will be issued to all participants upon completion of the program.
What if I decide to pull out from the program?
Please keep in mind that you are going to make your groupmates, trainers, mentors, committee and a very cute kitten somewhere very very sad :( Additionally, it will result in a two-year suspension from participating in any #seKODlah CIMB programs.
